I wish I had words to better descirbe my affection for this fragrance but for me the whole thing, the name, the bottle the scent itself are perfect. I have no words to describe this amazing fragrance but every time you wear it it's like you live your own fairytale .

I also saw the review for BP in TS and LT book, which is why I HAD to try the fragrance to see if it was deserving of such high praise. Blue Hyacinth and Orange Flower Templar blend with Laelia Orchid and Crepe Jasmin, warmed with Zebrano Wood.It manages to remain somewhat fresh and true to the feeling of walking through a humid tropical garden pavilion with butterflies swirling around. The hyacinth, bergamot, gardenia, and honeysuckle are most prominent to me, with the musk and amber barreling through the middle notes after an hour or so.

In fact, the whole development of Beyond Paradise most resembles its origin story: a walk through a fantasy conservatory with abstract, imaginary flowers. The 90's were a change in direction for perfume which was sorely needed, a new era, a fresh approach. It’s an idea, a conception, of flowers, but personally I’d prefer the real ones, without the ozonic saltiness. The middle is gorgeous too, as if your skin has started warming up again now you're out of the waterfall-shower, and the sun is starting to set, and the night flowers are opening up. While the opening held promise, with a limpid resinousness reminiscent of and, in terms of quality, on a par with Banana Republic's creations, the drydown I find quite intolerable.The hyacinth is very prominent in the beginning but this becomes honeysuckle fragrance in the heart. I used this for a few months about two years ago and I noticed that I got compliments mainly from teenage girls / very young women.
