You have to sign up for the tools & products, assessment & certification options and you will need a Nail Trainer practice hand. Work through the videos, answer the question papers, create your nails and send them in for assessment. If you pass we issue your certificate.All the tools and products are provided for you to complete the course and get your certificate (full course option).

Yes. Essential Nails graduates and the certificates awarded are recognised in the industry and accredited by The Beauty Guild. They will enable you to get insurance if you want to start working in a salon or start your own business doing nails. The final stage of the course is about practice. You will practice on 5 different nail shapes fitted to thumb and fingers, using the nail trainer. At the end of this part of the nail course, you will have prepped, tipped, blended, applied acrylic, shaped and polished at least 60 sets of nails and will be competent to start working on paying clients. In theory, all of these hands should be reuseable and how easy it is to remove your acrylic or hard gel is going to depend on how your type of hand and how you applied it.Nail techs in training who are working toward working with real, live clients, you might want a hand with a stand because it gives you a more realistic angle than a single finger type or limp hand. You also have options to upgrade to the Tools & Products option, or upgrading to the Full Course which include Tools, Products and Assessment & Certification.
