Prazsky was launched in Ireland in 2003. Prazsky is a premium Czech style lager brewed to an award winning, traditional recipe passed down through generations since 1899, using only the finest hops, malt and water. A top quality lager with a consistency in flavour means it is one of the most popular Eastern European Beers on the Irish Market. The Panel noted the Advisory Service’s guidance for the new Code, which they had seen and discussed at a previous meeting, and in particular the guidance that: Van Pur was launched as a Polish-German company at the time of the collapse of Communism in 1989, by Zbigniew Wantusiak, and Siegfried Pura of Astrid Pura.
