Images of freshly harvested red grapes, plums and raisins come to mind. I perceive peat very little, as well as oak tones. Everything a little restrained, but very pleasant. Nose: Peat smoke, caramelised sugar, bananas grilled on the barbecue, a little vanilla and hints of oak. The phrase “Whiskey brings people together” is heard quite a bit. It may be oft said, but the adage is true, plain and simple.
