I guess the one BIG thing I appreciated was that the author did not use sexual assault or anything related to that as the basis of this love story. Toyota described Adachi as "serious and straightforward" while also having a rough life because he lacks self-confidence.

In Taiwan, the television drama was the highest viewed show on KKTV [ zh] for six consecutive weeks. Quick clarification, She Loves to Cook, She Loves to Eat isn’t light Yuri work, it’s a brilliant queer work about two people finding out who they are and who they care about through food. Kurosawa is in love with Adachi, and he wanted to see his sleeping face so he uses grabbing for his phone as an excuse. Work-wise, she did a number of BL and short books before her breakthrough title, Papa and Daddy’s Home Cooking which ran from 2014-2020 in Comic Bunch magazine.I kind of love when the popular character is the one that loves the awkward unpopular character more. And to make matters worse, when he accidentally reads the mind of his very competent, handsome colleague, Adachi discovers the guy has a raging crush on none other than Adachi himself!

Yuu Toyota is a manga creator with numerous series spanning many different genres, from shojo to slice of life. I definitely am a fan of boys love, AKA yaoi (or just M/M romance) and I look forward to more books within this genre of manga. At a local restaurant, Adachi gives Kurosawa money for the meal and says he cannot keep "imposing" on him.Kaina's closing chapter is hindered by a stereotypical villain and predictable plotting, where the destination was emphasized over the journey. a b TV Tokyo lists the anime series premiere on January 10 at 24:00, which is effectively January 11 at midnight JST. But ughhhhh ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Adachi is making Kurosawa so damn happy, in the process making the rest of the world HAPPY!

Also if you enjoy this series, there was a live action version made of it over Christmas, which I highly recommend, I’ve watched the series a few too many times already! Shaw's impressive vocal range — from the imperious Claire to the timid Lily, makes this audiobook version the best way to enjoy I'm in Love with the Villainess. When Adachi reads Kurosawa's mind while staying at his apartment overnight, he gets to see Kurosawa's fantasies about him wearing special pajamas he just offered Adachi. There’s a lot of comics about just chilling out these days, and they’re almost all coming from Japan. All we know is Adachi is 30, can read minds, and finds out that his coworker likes him It doesn't going into depth with anything and honestly there is some serious "insta-love" going on which makes no sense. An author's note, a couple extra illustrations, one full-color illustration, a page of translator's notes, a brief comic-style afterword by the author, and a few chapters at the end that could either be considered bonus manga or just an extension of the main story (one of them stars Adachi's friend, but the rest are all still focused on Kurosawa and Adachi). Once in a blue moon I stumble upon a book that completely blows my expectations away even though I went in with none, and as such immediately makes it to my all times favorite list. The virginity thing wasn't needed (although growing up Ace has made me super-sensitive on the subject of virginity shaming/fetishizing), but overall the book was a lot more fun than I ever anticipated. It really is an interesting idea, so hopefully it will pick up in both plot and less confusion in the next volume.

And when a misunderstanding forces Adachi’s hand, will the big reveal be a make (love)–or–break (up) moment for the pair? Speaking of things that are funny, David mentions wrestler Brian Danielson talking about floppy penises in the wrestling locker room. Nowadays, all manner of art, comics, anime, novels, games, and dramas from many different countries operate under the BL genre heading. Not What It Looks Like: In the TV drama when Adachi and Tsuge hold one another to show they're both magic users and can read the other's thoughts, Kurosawa accidentally stumbles upon them and thinks they might be about to kiss. I am planning to pick up the second volume, when it releases in September (in the English translations), just because I am interested in the idea behind becoming a wizard as a 30 year old virgin.
