I grabbed this one to read with my toddlers because they enjoy learning and have a million questions!

The illustrations are fun and dominate the page while the arrows between the facts prompt even the most reluctant reader to investigate further. Don't get me wrong: the actual information in here is fun and interesting and I do think this will strike a number of kids in all the right ways. When she’s not hunting for new facts, Kate enjoys gardening, playing video games and planning road trips to national parks. Because they’re all connected like a story, you have to make sure to slot just the right fact into that spot. I hope that kids who read this book, or any nonfiction book, want to dig deeper and ask even more questions about something they found fascinating.These paths all intertwine really well, as you transition from learning about bugs to learning about sharks, and then into light reflecting off of the moon creating rainbows! Some of the paths are sort of like choose your own adventure, where you can follow a path forward or choose to follow it to another page, listed on the path. This coruscating cornucopia of extraordinary facts is truly a fun and fact-filled reading adventure.
