About this deal

Easy and fun to use, this camera can be used under many lighting situations and small enough to take everywhere. We had to look into this combo and understand what is really under the hood of this new little plastic guy. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Power Sourc: 1AAA - Alkaline battery (required) Number of exposures: 27 Weight: 122 grams Dimensions: 110mm (W) x 55.

This time it only went up to 27, my film was a 36 so I knew the last few shots would be completed after the counter went past zero, counting down again. I assumed that the Ilford Rapid Retro was more or less a repackaging/rebranding of another disposable camera with a 3rd party film. I was generally quite pleased with the results, although you really have to use the flash most of the time.People will definitely stare at the looks of it, and if you are careful with the flash (remember to stay close to the subject! The ILFORD ILFOCOLOR Rapid single use camera is pre-loaded with 27-exposure ISO 400 Vinyage Tone colour negative film.

Once the film was dried, the film went right to the scanner where I can finally say, I was very pleased with the results! The fast film combined with a built-in flash makes the ILFOCOLOR Rapid a versatile device that delivers excellent results both outdoors and indoors in low light conditions. ISO speed film for use in a variety of lighting conditions, the camera also features a built-in flash. This Retro ILFORD camera is a throw back to the 1960’s in its look and design, a classic time for the colour aesthetic of the camera. The serendipituously left-side light-leak one, of the girl’s sculpted figure, and the lighter of the two views of persons walking up the road into blinding light … intended or not, are most beautifully freighted, emotive. To understand more about the details above you can check out our film guide or if you want some inspiration then head over to our page on choosing your next film. Many of those double-exposures – that seeming stag’s head made of branches – that’s a show or a zine right there. The film has an extremely wide exposure latitude, which is suitable for use in a variety of light conditions.

you can get some cool snaps indoors too this winter, but the camera shines outdoors with a good blaze of sun. The paper camera design isn’t glued down so you could use it as a template to make your own cover if you like.

instead of using the disposable camera I removed the film after running it through a closed lens exposure cycle and loaded it into a Canon AE1-Program with 28mm and 50mm lens. It is different from standard black and white film as you process it in C41 type chemicals, alongside colour negative films.
