What actually arrived was a coloring book printed on a much heavier weight of paper than the US Animorphia book. I'd purchased both as gifts for others (guys in their 20s) and imagimorphia so enjoyable that this 50 year old may just get one for herself!

Hopefully the illustrator focuses on the awe-inspiring art work in the future instead of giving others "what to do" instructions. There are still plenty of animals included, but this time they mostly incorporate mechanical elements like cogs and cables, which adds a lot more interest and variety than the little doodle monsters (still very much present! The cover has a matte feel with glossy images and title, a perfect complement to the design of Animorphia. I was disappointed in the set up of Animorphia, not with the illustrations, which are wonderful (even thought they are not "my thing") but b/c it told the user what to do nearly on every page.

I do wish the double page spreads weren't so difficult to get to in the spine; spiral or lay flat binding on this book would be a dream.
