The numbness that lingered all over New York for months did not encourage any sort of enthusiasm, so I just gave it a brief whiff: It smelled of wood smoke, like everything else, with a bit of pine and lemon. The deodorant was excellent but is no longer made (as an aside any fan of Penhaligons now discontinued deodorants will find the Geo F Trumper ones a good replacement).

I grew up in North Carolina and the smells of lemon/lime remind me (only in the context of this fragrance) of my days drinking Sprite and eating homemade key lime pie. Finally, the packaging is a reflection of the bottle itself with a fleur-de-lys motif and golden stripes. I would say that Blenheim Bouquet is not a young man scent but something for the more mature and distinguished gent, (40+). If you're not familiar with the Finish Citrus range, however, you can replace the visual with lemon washing up liquid and you'll be in the ballpark.

I can’t give a very accurate description of the scent itself because I don’t wear it but I do think it’s a really good one. The box is stunning with a faux-wood design and motif representing a soldier’s tunic, which comes with a shaving cream and post-shave balm. It is better than almost all the portraits and a lot of the newer but not new stuff like Juniper, Endymion and Quercus.

Blenheim Bouquet is discreet, sensual and immaculately turned out with a flash of heritage flourish. There's not much more here than sherbet-y lemons, incense and a bit of musk and pine, but it's so nice! One of the oldest and probably the most famous of Penhaligon's fragrances, this was worn by Winston Churchill (because of the name, which evokes his ancestral birthplace of Blenheim palace in Oxfordshire) and (reputedly) Prince William. Despite writing a horrible review slamming it, my Savoy Steam did not last long and I'm on bottle two. and not a sharp pepper a la Poivre Samarcande by Hermes or Poivre 23 by Le Labo, but a very "gawky" pepper.

Se la selezione di campioni dovesse essere superiore ai 40 euro, la differenza verrà aggiunta al carrello. I like to scent Blenheim Bouquet with a tissue and keep the tissue in my wardrobe and it’s fragrant up with a gentle soft citrusy with spiciness! Considering it is over 100 years old it still remains as modern and discreet as the day it was created.

This might not be for +20 or (wannabe) young +30 people but it is class and will definitely make a statement.

I always thought of this as a summer fragrance, but it's the perfect scent for this time of year and the low temperature. Whilst it does provide a tangible scent, Blenheim Bouquet performs reasonably well and gives an average albeit tight projection with a respectable sillage.

Beautiful lemon lime musk opening that lives throughout the life of the frag, but the pine and pepper peep through. I can't smell like this, I thought, and that's when I knew: Sitting at my dressing table with an enormous empty bottle looking in the mirror I saw it in my eyes.It has minimum sillage and projection and lasts probably 1-2 hours maximum on my skin, and smells like a piece of paper, scented with a lemony citrus and pepper. The result of that combination is that you get an accord not dissimilar to when you wipe down your spice rack. Blenheim Bouquet is presented in the classic Penhaligon’s flacon that is cylindrical in shape with an acrylic cap. It may not be particularly complex (although it is more complex than you first think, so give it a chance) but even the simple Penhaligon's just ooze elegance and class.
