In late 1969, following the demise of the Rendell-Carr quintet, and tiring of British jazz, Carr assembled the legendary Nucleus. First time repress and remastering of the soundtrack to Labyrinth on vinyl, 31 years after the initial release of the film on 1986. Long out of print, the album, which was remastered at Capitol Studios, will be available on high quality 180gm black vinyl and include the faithfully replicated original jacket and artwork. Originally released on Vertigo in 1973, Labyrinth was never re-pressed and of course those original copies are now very tricky to score. Item as described and will work for my game, arrived well packaged and protected and in the new condition advertised.

The album soon finds its rhythm as it alights on the spell-binding and groove-friendly “Bull-Dance”, showing off the best Nucleus has to offer: subtle trumpet melodies, compelling rhythms, a psych-rock vibe and tight soloing. In particular, I like the song "Sarah" although I can't place where it is in the film and am thinking about re-watching it just to find out.
