That aside, it looks stunning on the cheeks and, even though the formula is drier and quite rough to the touch due to the glitter, it still manages to look fresh when applied. The brick color on the left can be a bit too much on my fair skin, but with a light hand and a not so dense brush it gives me a nicely flushed look. I'd highly recommend starting out with Deep Throat, as it's effortlessly beautiful and you don't need to think too much when applying it. As you can see, it's pinker than the other blushes in the comparison, but the Shu Blush photographs too yellow most pictures for some reason, so keep that in mind. I didn't swatch it yet, but I had a tiny flake of the product coming off from the corner of the pan.I feel like we've already had that but taking out a massive palette for one blush just doesn't appeal. I was tempted to try it from seeing the colour in the adverts and reading the description – referred to as ‘soft and subtle peach’ or ‘orgasm light’. Like Taos, this is another bold colour, but it's a little softer looking thanks to the difference in shimmer and less red tone. I tried to really pack it on, but as it was hard to see on me, I was only able to guess that it was still on after seven hours (I looked for a sheen coming through, since it did have a mattifying effect that I could detect). Pigmentation is definitely just as intense for Sex Appeal, and even if it is probably the lightest blush shade I've seen from them, highlighter shades not withstanding, it still maintains the quality that one comes to expect from a NARS blush.

A couple of the more out-there shades take a bit of extra careful work than the majority, but they all end up looking just as gorgeous. It looks neutral on, blends well and adds just the right amount of color when you have paler than pale skin like me.I'm thinking this colour is especially meant to go with some of the metalic eyes and/or berry lips for this season.

Really lovely seller - there was an honest mistake with the listing vs the size of the item I was sent due to it not having a label but the seller immediately put things right in a way that made life easy for me and was very professional about it. I am extremely pale in the winter and this is pretty much the only blush which doesn't make me look like a clown. It is definitely not the brightest or more eye-catching blush from NARS, but it is definitely a keeper!
