I avoid applying it right up under my eye (close to the lash line) as it tends to accentuate the fine lines there. I tend to stay away from powders under the eyes as they can accentuate tiny lines causing the skin to look dry.Instead, I apply it to my under-eye bags, and continue applying it below the bags in a triangle shape.
