Just look at the X-Tx lineup, Canon R5, Sony RX100s, Nikon Z30, I'm not even going to list all the a7 models that overheat. The problem is it's 2023 and we live in a late stage capitalist hell hole of a society where corporations are barely held responsible for their actions and have way too much influence in government. Finished with a beautiful satin coating, the X100V is a perfect combination of design and engineering that is sure to make photographers of any level joyful as they make their images. This is very useful for street photography, allowing you to shoot from the hip or above your head to get angles that aren’t possible on previous X100 cameras or smartphones.

Macro is a full-frame L-mount lens that's designed to be a medium telephoto, portrait and macro lens all-in-one.

If I switch to JPEG then that difference becomes even more pronounced although I'm going to guess that there might be in-camera sharpening or contrast/brightness going on that might cause that difference. This is particularly useful when the approximate distance to the subject is consistent and high-performance AF is needed. It comes down to a combination of four factors: its stylish, pocketable form factor, large APS-C sensor, unique hybrid viewfinder, and a fixed 23mm f/2 lens. One other element of the Fujifilm X100V that's a big step forward is the new lens that it's packing.

In the hand, the X100V feels not unlike the much more affordable Fujifilm X-A7, in terms of size and weight. Especially when they get popular photographer to do sponsored content that is published on their media channels.I thought that I would post my experience so that others might, consider it before they make a purchase. The new OLED finder saves power over the LCD finder of the X100F: now rated 350/420 shots EVF/OVF versus the 270/390 shots of the X100F.

I use my XT-2 for BTS Still images on film sets and I tell ya hwat this thing is a performer even with as old as it is. The Fujifilm XF 23mm F2 R WR delivers a 35mm full-frame equivalent field of view and stands out due to its small size and weather-resistant build. Of course if you shoot raw, then the colors and look you get depends just as much on your choice of software used to decode the raw files. Fill-flash performance is superior to any interchangeable-lens camera because it uses a special leaf shutter which synchronizes with flash at all speeds up to 1/4,000, allowing the built-in flash to have far more range than with the much slower sync speeds of focal plane shutters of interchangeable-lens cameras. We tested it side-by-side with a Fujifilm X-T3 fronted by a 23mm f/2 lens, and it’s certainly not quite up to the level of that combination – the X100V was noticeably slower and noisier, particularly in low light situations. Some retailers are offering the X100V with a 'Weather Resistance' kit, which includes an AR-X100 adapter ring and PRF-49 protection filter. In this case the light looks perfect (without flash Sofie's face would have been in compete shadow with no catchlight in her eye), and the ultrafast sync speed of the X100 V's leaf shutter let the camera shoot at 1/550 with ease — something no interchangeable lens digital camera can do.
