Description

There’s only 3-axis digital stabilisation, though, rather than the preferable 2-axis stabilisation of the DJI Spark (a third is digitally stabilised). Parrot has put plenty of effort in to make sure this is a more rounded drone with technology and features to appeal to all pilots.

The app also has a FindMyDrone setting, which indicates the last recorded GPS position of the drone and guides you to it. We’re expecting to receive a review unit in the near future, so we’ll take the Bebop 2 Power through its paces and see how it measures up against, in particular, DJI’s Spark and Mavic Pro.The Bebop 2's design incorporates four shock absorbers, and it couples those with digital stabilization to keep footage steady.

First and most importantly the BeBop 2's battery life has doubled from 12 minutes to a whopping 25 minutes!A wall adaptor is included with a cable for charging the batteries, and another for charging the Skycontroller 2. Paired with the Parrot Skycontroller 2 and the Parrot Cockpit glasses, your Parrot Bebop 2 drone reveals new capabilities. Parrot bills it as an option for long-distance flight, but it's a better performer at shorter distances and lower altitudes. These accessories help to give pilots more flexibility, both in terms of flight time and what they can actually do with the drone.

While the DJI Spark has a microSD slot for storage, the Bebop 2 Power instead opts for 8GB of integrated flash storage, of which about 7GB is actually usable. It also has a full-size HDMI output on the side lets you connect an external display to see what the camera sees and also supports headsets for completely immersing you for first-person-view (FPV) flight. The quadcopter is small enough to slide into an average backpack and at just over a pound (500 grams), it's easy to travel with. Designed to fly indoors and outdoors, it's the first leisure drone weighing less than 500 g with a 25-minute battery life. There’s GPS and GLONASS positioning, ultrasound on the base with visual positioning, and an altimeter.J'aime moins les lunettes qui zooment sur le telephone et font ressortirent les pixels du telephone donnant une image pas tres bien definie (sur un galaxie A8 en tous cas. It’s a little top-heavy for my liking, due to the large transmitter and receiver that gives it a range of up to 2km. Le drone est parfaitement maniable et tres stable, tres facile d utilisation vu qu il est stabilisé ( on est plus dans la categorie jouets ). The body seems otherwise virtually identical to its predecessor, although the rotors have now been color coded to make it a little easier to remember where each one goes. And instead of hovering in place after a disconnection, it sometimes continued flying, leading to a dangerous crash.
