About this deal

it is possible to transfer sound and pattern data directly between units, using the line out / line in connectors. To copy the last played drum slice, hold sound + write then choose a drum sound (9-16) then a slot (1-16). With the PO-33, sample any sound source using line-in or the built-in microphone. Melodic mode lets you play chromatic melodies and drum mode lets you play the drums. Sequence it all and add effects on top. Micro sampler with 40-second sample memory and built-in recording microphone. Press bpm to switch tempo. the bpm will be displayed in the upper right corner of the screen. There are three preset tempos: To reset a parameter of the active sample, hold record while turning knob A or B (LED shows rSt). Trim

If there is a downside to the sequencer, it’s that it has a 4-note max polyphony. That means no more than four samples can play at any one time, or on any single step. The max polyphony includes both melodic and drum samples, so if you add a fifth, you get some note stealing with the newest sample replacing the one that came before it. Together, the two slot banks allow you to create very cool beats, especially if you’re into techno, house, or hip hop. Drum sample slots are more about rhythm and texture; they are used to record slightly longer samples/loops. Unlike the melodic samples, drum samples are sliced across the buttons. So, a single sample will be chopped into smaller sections that can be used to create new patterns. These slots don’t need to be used for drums or percussion; they are just best served for that. But, you can use them to chop up longer vocals, or anything else you like. with PO-33, sample any sound source using line in or the built in microphone. melodic mode lets you play chromatic melodies and drum mode lets you play drums. sequence it all and add effects on top. connect a standard stereo audio cable between the units. the master unit will control the tempo of the sync unit.

PO-33 KO: Conclusion

Within a pattern, you have 16 parts or sounds, each with their own sequence. To select a part, hold ‘sound’ + press button 1-16. You can play the sounds in real time when you are in performance mode. caution: changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void user’s authority to operate the equipment. Basic operation of the PO-33 and PO-35 will be familiar if you’ve used any of the previous models, but otherwise takes a little getting used to. You work with one sound slot at a time, chosen by holding the Sound button and tapping one of the 16 number buttons. You can then either play it freeform using the number buttons as note/slice triggers, or you can step sequence it by entering Write mode and adding triggers within the 16-step sequence using the same buttons. Real-time pattern recording is also possible by holding down the Write button while tapping out notes. Hold a step and press bpm to retrigger the sound 1,2,3,4,6,or 8 times (tr #). This is good for flam effects on drums. To enter/exit rec mode, press write. Enter sound/notes in grid. The last sound you played with be the active sound. Active steps will be lit. Press play to listen to your pattern. Live Mode

The PO-12 is a drum machine and sequencer with 16 sounds to choose from. The sounds are a combination of synthesized and sampled drum sounds, and the overall character is kinda old-school 808-style. You can save up to 16 patterns and switch between them on the fly. You can also apply and save effects to your patterns, as well as tweak the individual drum sounds to individualise your ideas. Hold FX and press any key from 1-15. If write mode is enabled the effects will be saved in the pattern. To clear the saved effects make sure write mode is enabled while holding FX + key 16, otherwise the effects are temporarily bypassed. I have finally updated the ultimate cheat sheet. It’s much prettier now, plus I’ve fixed some mistakes and added even more useful stuff (and perhaps some new mistakes as well, please tell me if you find any). If you miss the old ugly version, you can get it here. hold bpm and press any key 1-16 to adjust master volume. note: be careful with the volume setting when using headphones. only exceed volume setting 5 with caution.

by saving this cost, high quality components could be used to guarantee the best possible sound and very low power consumption. Boasting differing features including drummachines, synthesizers, sequencers, and sampling capabilities, these small but mighty operators provide studio quality sound and the flexibility to make music in any location - use the built-in speaker, connect a pair of headphones or a speaker system and you're off. if the alleged defect arises because customer has altered or repaired the product without the prior written consent or authorization of teenage engineering;
