Comfortable clean and well equipped. Mind you we are old fashioned and we had to buy a teapot but that is not a complaint just us being awkward!!! Great location for getting everywhere. Used the train instead of driving which was brilliant. If you stay here take a trip to Ramsgate and visit the tunnels. Very interesting. A great couple of hours. Daisy and Poppy borrow Fleur's magic wand, escape from the castle, and turn the whole kingdom into rabbits, frogs, and birds.

Furnished to a high standard including being decorated lovely for Christmas. Beds were extremely comfortable and house was very well equipped. Ben & Holly's Little Kingdom is a British preschool animated television series. [2] The show was created by Neville Astley and Mark Baker, and produced by Astley Baker Davies and by Entertainment One (the original companies responsible for Peppa Pig). It was her who revealed that The Wise Old Elf used to love magic, right before the Monkey's Kittens incident. She lives with Victor in a castle high in the clouds. Daisy and Poppy (both voiced by Zoe Baker) are Holly's 3-year-old younger twin sisters. They are not very good at magic and don't know that many spells as they are only toddlers, but this does not stop them from trying to cause chaos with the dangerous spells they do know. They are quite cheeky and usually end up causing trouble with magic. As Daisy and Poppy can be very naughty, Holly sometimes dislikes her sisters due to the trouble they cause with their magic. Most of the adult characters are wary of them too, though Queen Thistle seems to be able to deal with them for the most part. They share the same voice actress acting as Richard Rabbit from Peppa Pig.

Springtime in the Little Kingdom brings out tulips, daffodils, hedgehogs, and two very hungry gnomes. Nanny Plum and the Wise Old Elf come up with a plan to stop the gnomes from eating everything in sight. Owner was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Really enjoyed our stay here while we moved house and it helped to make the process less stressful. Thank you for a lovely stay. Nanny Plum (voiced by Sarah Ann Kennedy) is Holly, Daisy, and Poppy's nanny, and a general housekeeper for the King and Queen. She is very good at magic and capable of speaking many animal languages (including ones which she claims to be a bit difficult such as Mole, Aardvark, Ant, Centipede and even Alien). She often ends up in all kinds of trouble when trying to help Holly and her friends. She is also a tooth fairy. Although being quite bossy and savage, she usually is a helpful and funny character. She is very good at cleaning with magic. She rivals the Wise Old Elf mainly due to their differing opinions over the use of magic. She is a teacher at the Fairy School. She is the same voice actress acting as Miss Rabbit and Mummy Rabbit from Peppa Pig. Mr Elf is Ben Elf's father and Mrs Elf's husband. He is very serious and often likes hard work. He is the food deliverer to the fairies and elves and delivers presents to Father Christmas. He once was a sailor and he quite enjoyed being one until a fish known as "Big Bad Barry", ate most of his boats after that experience he decided he will not sail again. He retired and instead worked to deliver food to the people of the Little Kingdom. The owners should be proud of the way this property is presented and I hope future guests will respect and look after the property. Jeff Golding.

From the hallway wander into the lounge which houses seating for six people, and a log burner for those cosy winter nights. Ben Elf (voiced by Preston Nyman) is an 8-year-old elf, and one of the titular protagonists alongside his best friend, Princess Holly. He lives with his parents, Mr and Mrs Elf in a tree (known as Great Elf Tree) along with all the other elves. He can be quite tentative when it comes to using magic, as he is a young elf and elves generally dislike the use of magic. He does not have any siblings but has plenty of friends, his best friend is Princess Holly. He is a patient young elf, whenever the two (Holly and Ben) go out to play Holly is often late but he patiently waits for her every time, even though Holly is seldom punctual in meetings, nearly forgetting his birthday once. The only negative for us was that the kettle could have benefited from descaling and a water filter for filling the kettle would have been good.Coming from a hard water area ourselves we of course understand that the water is not the owners fault but a water filter would solve the issue of ‘scum’ on your tea. We did get around this by buying bottled water for filling the kettle so it was only a minor irritation. All in all we had a lovely time reconnecting with my cousins and rediscovering my roots Captain Squid (voiced by Andy Hamilton) is also a pirate, along with Redbeard the Elf Pirate. He is Redbeard's brother and also the Wise Old Elf's son. The duo befriends a caterpillar called Betty, who wishes she could fly, and King Thistle advises them to fatten her up. They soon get a big surprise the next day!

Gloria Gnome (voiced by Judy Flynn) is Mr Gnome's "girlfriend". She was introduced in the episode, "Springtime". Miss Cookie's class is out on a nature trail in the Little Kingdom! It is up to Ben and Holly to prevent the elves and fairies from being discovered by the big children and their teacher. A magical card arrives at the Little Kingdom, inviting everyone to a party at Granny and Granpapa Thistle's castle. The party is full of wonderful surprises and Granpapa shows everyone his funny hobbies. Electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, Fuel, power inc. in rent King Thistle wants bread for his Royal breakfast, but there isn't any flour in the castle. Mr. Elf takes Ben, Holly, and Nanny Plum to the Elf Windmill to find out why it takes so long to make flour.The elf and fairy children learn how the rubbish left after a picnic can be recycled into new toys, and Lucy has a look around the Little Kingdom. It is the time of the year for the blue moon which gives no fairy magic for one day of the year and also stops the Elf Factory's "Great Elf Engine" from working - and the fuel is magic. (Nanny Plum knows that the Elves hate magic, so she asks the Wise Old Elf why the Great Elf Engine is fueled by magic. The Wise Old Elf says that magic "has a low carbon footprint and it never stops working".) Everyone is visiting snooty King and Queen Marigold's Castle. King and Queen Marigold give them a which features a room made of ice sculptures and an upside-down room. Snooty King and Queen Marigold are coming to visit, but when the King's new clothes get dirty Nanny cleans them and accidentally shrinks them all.
