In practice, the noise-cancelling effect is clearly noticeable, but less intense in its reduction as with Sony, for example. Static and low-frequency noises are nevertheless noticeably lowered in level and thus, in combination with the strong padding, an improved signal-to-noise ratio and quiet space is created. Of course, this becomes relevant in the special case of explicitly loud outside noise levels. A loud clap of the hands or placing the head directly in front of a loud guitar amplifier did not disturb the system. The microphones only reacted audibly to the wind. Sound The signature of many of the Beyerdynamic models is their spacious soundstage. The DT 880 Pros are fantastic in this regard.

We tried these cans out thinking they would be a step up from the VGH-AC30s, but alas, we were wrong. These are a disappointment and generally not recommended given their price. Offering impeccable Bluetooth technology, fully controllable, powerful and adjustable, these Vox Noise Cancelling Headphones produce an excellent sound experience and comfort designed with the player in mind. As recreational headphones, they deliver decently. They are hyped in the bass, like most, and have good noise-cancellation.Designed for mixing and mastering, the frequency response of the K702s is transparent and neutral. This allows clarity from your amp or DAW’s tone without extra hype in any frequency range.

The VH-Q1 goes one step further than most other headphones: the noises we hear come not only from the outside world, but also our own body, transmitted to our ears through the headband of our headphones. By using a special frame structure, the VH-Q1 minimizes these noises and provides an unparalleled audio experience! We recommend uninstalling the VOX 2ch Audio Driver when using the target VOX product with non-ASIO driver mode or general purpose ASIO driver. The VOX VH-Q1 uses a very new kind of Bluetooth headphone technology, developed to deliver unsurpassed high definition sound for your music. Combining state-of-the-art Active Noise Cancelling, incoming sound attenuation and an array of smart features, the VH-Q1 headphones provide a flexible, controllable, powerful and great-sounding experience. These Vox Bluetooth Headphones produce clear high-quality audio, perfect for practicing guitar, acoustic or bass, listening to your favourite jam or making a phone call. Via a Bluetooth connection with your computer or phone, you can play guitar with these but that requires an audio interface, a DAW or app, and a lot of fiddling to set up.

Tech. sheet

I was at first skeptical about these considering the cost, but they are truly a plug-and-play joy. For guitar practice, this setup is ideal. The Overall Feel of the Waza-Air Headphones

An external source can be fed into the headphone via the line or Bluetooth and can be balanced with the acoustic or vocals coming through the microphone using a volume control. Bluetooth controlThe clean channels sound fantastic. There’s a distance between the sound and you that feels like you’ve got the amp in the room. The clean presets were perfectly dialed in for my Strat with roll-off exactly right. Designed as a reference studio headphone, the AKG K702s deliver a neutral frequency response with maximum clarity in all registers. See here for our full review of the AKG K702 Headphones. Coming in a White finish with Rose Gold features, the Vox VH-Q1 has the traditional Vox Diamond design woven into the inside of the earpads creating visually stunning headphones.

The build makes them great for longer, late-night jam sessions. The ear cushions are made with comfortable velour cups, and the headband is adjustable to fit all head sizes. The lightweight frame helps too, weighing in at 260 grams. In addition, the headphones have 41mm custom PEEK high-grade film diaphragms installed which enhances the listening experience for the enjoyer. Attenuators range from the high-end Universal Audio Oxto the affordable but excellent Bugera Power Soak. Questions or Comments?
