The song "Storm 3000" has been used as the theme tune for the BBC television programme Dragons' Den. Released in 1995 on CD, cassette and double vinyl. A limited edition triple vinyl version was also released at the same time, containing "Cut for Life" (7:09) (replacing "Song of Life"), "Half Past Dub" (3:38) and a longer version of "Open Up" (8:44). [29] It was re-released in 2017. [30] 2000 double CD re-release [ edit ] That video we made was like a dark comedy. It's not meant to be taken seriously. They sent us a list of reasons why they banned it: drug abuse, fear, loss of limbs, death, promotion of drugs, y'know.” Thanks to everyone who's helped and supported us, too many to mention, you know who you are. Dedicated to the memory of Monty Barnes.

Worthy, Stephen (2 June 2017). "Leftfield 'Leftism 22' (Sony Legacy UK)". Mixmag . Retrieved 12 May 2020. There was a hiatus in recording and live performances between 2002 and 2010. When Barnes revived Leftfield, Daley declined to be involved, to focus on his solo career. After touring for a few years, Barnes finished writing new material for a third Leftfield album, Alternative Light Source, which was released in 2015. In 2022, they released their fourth studio album, This Is What We Do. During this period, in which the band could not release their own music owing to the legal dispute with Rhythm King, the pair undertook remix work for React 2 Rhythm, I.C.P. (Ice Cool Productions), Supereal, Inner City, Sunscreem, Ultra Naté and provided two remixes to David Bowie's single " Jump They Say". Finally, once the problems with their former label had been sorted out, Leftfield were able to unveil their single " Release the Pressure". [20] Discography [ edit ] Studio albums [ edit ] Title No doubt it cost an arm and a leg. “Well, it's ironic you should say that, because that was one of the things they didn't like about it, the fact that the bloke in the video lost his arms and legs! But, you know, the fact they've banned it just makes people want to see it more. So they're doing us a favour really. But I do find that kind of thing very hypocritical. If you wanna really look into things, there are a lot of videos on during the day, or on Top Of The Pops, that I wouldn’t want my kids to see. It's just hypocritical."

When I ask Daley to name his favourite dance album of all time, he leaves me flabbergasted. I'm sorry, but I could have sworn you just said Boney M. "There were times when we were making this album that I went home from the studio at night and thought, 'We can't make another album. It ain't gonna work'. I was thinking, 'Well, all that music that we put out between 1989 and 1996, that was Leftfield, that was our time.' a b c Aston, Martin (February 1995). I've done it to John Lydon, actually [whom Leftfield collaborated with on 1995's awesome Open Up], and watched him turn from an arch cynic into this loved-up bunny rabbit. He thought it was great!
