Four additional 1x1 round tiles form heat exhaust vents towards the rear, alongside three 1x1 slopes which represent fuel drive stabilisers. Neither feature is present in the correct quantity, although their inclusion at all is appreciated. However, my favourite detail is certainly the new engine assembly which achieves a substantial improvement upon previous designs due most notably to the revised shaping. Micro-sized Falcon 55555 features a mostly light bluish gray color scheme with an inverted radar dish serving at the simplified top of the ship. The most sought after part in the set is the attractive display stand assembly emblazoned with the LEGO logo and Star Wars logo. Easy to build – and to rebuild after battles – this durable 101-piece building toy makes the best birthday present, holiday gift or fun surprise treat for creative kids aged 6+. Viewing these models from behind reveals the most obvious difference as the engine design has been completely overhauled. This structure comprises trans-light blue 1x2 plates which create an appropriate shape and appear to glow more brightly, simply by capturing the light. Additionally, I appreciate the subtler use of dark bluish grey on the latest Millennium Falcon, consisting primarily of light bluish grey pieces but incorporating darker highlights. LEGO launched the Microfighters series in 2014. The company releases a new wave of sets each year. As of early 2022, the series includes 35 sets. LEGO recommends the sets for ages 6 to 12.
