About this deal

In the far right pipe among the five pipes with Piranha Plants in them, jump in this corner to reveal this chest. Bean Valley hidden treasure (Croaka Cola) Image: ArtePiazza/Nintendo via Polygon

In the area with the seven stumps and wigglers, head into the stump closest to the entrance (the right stump). Inside, take out the enemies and jump at the above location to find the hidden treasure. Forest Maze hidden treasure (Croaka Cola) Image: ArtePiazza/Nintendo via Polygon There’s a house in Rose Town on the cliff that’s out of reach, but you can reach it by jumping on a nearby Toad’s head and then onto the cliff. Go upstairs in this house and jump on the bed to get this hidden chest. (Also hit that switch in the room to open up the stairs to the house.) Forest Maze hidden treasure (Croaka Cola) Image: ArtePiazza/Nintendo via Polygon Secret Path to Peach’s Castle!: For this Power Moon you'll need to enter the Mushroom Kingdom from a warp painting located in the Luncheon Kingdom. Head there, and make your way to the Remote Island in the Lava in the northeast. On this small island, walk down the steps on the right-hand side of the island and jump into the painting - you'll find yourself at Yoshi's house. Use Cappy to put out the fire and wall-jump to the top of the chimney to find this Power Moon. Use the cannon at the entrance to Land’s End to shoot yourself onto the yellow platform. Jump towards north from the platform to hit this chest. Land’s End hidden treasure (Croaka Cola) Image: ArtePiazza/Nintendo via Polygon

#3: The hidden chest in the Mushroom Kingdom castle

Yoshi’s Second Helping! (see location 13): Follow the steps for Power Moon 13. You'll get this Power Moon by eating another ten pieces of fruit, totalling twenty. After entering the huge raising gate, you’ll enter a room with a regular chest right in front of you. Use the nearby ledge to jump on top of it to access the first hidden treasure in this room. Belome’s Temple hidden treasure (Frog Coin) Image: ArtePiazza/Nintendo via Polygon You can leave this area by continuing to head right, and near the path leading out you’ll find one last Treasure Chest with a Mushroom inside — just watch for an ambushing Goomba among the palm trees. Note that Mushrooms in chests act as an instant heal (and FP replenish), rather than being added to your inventory. Head upstairs at the inn/item shop and go into the bedroom. Jump up on the shelves for this chest. Sunken Ship hidden treasure (Croaka Cola) Image: ArtePiazza/Nintendo via Polygon Claymorton will be attended to by four of his Bodyguards, but despite the name they have pretty much the same stats as the Shymores you’ve been facing (only they won’t offer extra coins or XP).

Use the red flower by the right exit of Bandit’s Way to jump towards the top right, allowing you to hit this very high chest. Rose Town hidden treasure (Frog Coin) Image: ArtePiazza/Nintendo via Polygon Herding Sheep at Peach’s Castle: If you talk to the Toad in the sheep pen (location 12 on our map - in the west), you'll find out that he has lost six sheep. If you round up all of these sheep into the pen, either using Cappy to send them flying forwards or just by running behind them, the Toad will give you a Power Moon. If you head downstairs from the item shop, a Toad will tell you to jump. Follow his instructions for what is technically the first hidden treasure. After doing this and getting the reward from the Toad, jump on his head and wait for him to walk into the corner to access another hidden treasure. Mushroom Kingdom hidden treasure (Frog Coin) Image: ArtePiazza/Nintendo via Polygon The talking treasure chest that lives upstairs of the mayor’s house in Monstro Town will also tell you how many hidden treasures you have left to find, which is useful if you’re trying to find all of the hidden treasure chests in Super Mario RPG.While you’re here, you can also return to the main hall and take the northwest path up some stairs to Princess Peach’s Bedroom. You can talk to an old Granny Toad here, and if you try and inspect the area between the fireplace and the blue chair, you’ll get the prompt “ Found Peach’s ???”. The Granny Toad will respond by chastising you, and give you a Mushroom to keep things as they were. At the northern most point of the map you'll find Goomba Woods - a sheep is standing on the western side of these woods. Found with Mushroom Kingdom Art (see location 25): Inside Peach's castle, look at the wall in the top-right of the ground floor to find some hint art. It shows the Cap Kingdom - so fly there, and walk from the Odyssey to the first bridge in front of you. You'll need to line up the large, hat-looking tower with the moon behind it, so that it perfectly re-creates the picture (take note of how much of the moon is visible in the picture). When you're in the right spot, perform a ground pound to discover a Power Moon.
