The Tsunayashiro family are the 3rd revealed great noble family, and they are the leading family of the 4 great noble families overall. Tokinada was only from a branch side family (i.e. the same way that Isshin was from the branch of the Shiba family). The Tsunayashiro family run the Visuals Department, which are a pan-dimensional surveillance network hidden deep under Seireitei. Tokinada recently assassinated the heads of the family, assuming the role of head of the family overall. Specifically, he actually hired assassin to kill himself, but allowed Hikone to kill both the assassin and the heads of the family, all to stage their murder as an assassination.

Many years later, Tokinada uncovered records about the true history of Soul Society and the greatest sin of the Tsunayashiro family. Laughing, Tokinada now realizes that the million-year history of Soul Society is based upon deception, and that there is no excuse for him or anyone to behave any differently. Tokinada vows that, until the inevitable end of Soul Society, he will act with completely justified malice and evil. [6] Hikone is the androgynous henchman of Tokinada. Tokinada tasked Aura with creating Hikone as an artificial hybrid of human, hollow, quincy, and arrancar souls, and Soul King fragments, that were all brought together using a special Soul King fragment that could hold Hikone's body together in ways previous Soul King fragments could not. Hikone also possess Gremmy's discarded brain which was discarded after the TYBW arc and found by Tokinada. When Hikone was brought to life, he at first experienced one of Gremmy's memories. Hikone is Tokinada's desired Soul King candidate. Tokinada gifted Hikone the name UBUGINU. The Ubuginu family formerly served the Tsunayshiro family. Tokinada gave Hikone a zanpakutô with a blade "filled with white light", called Ikomikidomoe, stolen from Ôetsu's Royal City. Hikone can use traits and abilities of the soul reapers, quincies, fullbringers, hollows, and arrancars. This includes blut, cero, and hierro. Hikone can even combine shunpo, sonido, hirenkyaku, and bringer light. (Image)While Yuki admits that he is terrified, he believes that he can still be of use to the lieutenant and Hisagi accepts his company, alongside that of Shino. While Hiyori wants to accompany them as well, Tessai stops her and explains that he needs her Hollow powers to help open the portal to the Valley of Screams instead. As the three Shinigami are sent to their destination, Tessai thanks Hisagi. [18] Chapter 18 [ ] Yoruichi further says that she would even tolerate Aizen ruling over her rather than someone as despicable as Tokinada, which Tokinada takes as a compliment. Tokinada adds that Yoruichi is a head of one of the Five Noble Families like him, but Yoruichi responds that she does not care about her ancestors or his lineage and family's sins. [16] Kenpachi defeats both the 8th Kenpachi who is imprisoned within Muken with AIZEN, as well as Privaron Espada #100. As Aura struggles to process the information, she asks why he did it, and Tokinada says that he merely wanted to retrieve something that belongs to his family. He further reveals that he knows about her existence, and asks if she wants to thank him or if she wants vengeance. When Aura reveals her disinterest in either, Tokinada is even more intrigued and proposes that she becomes one of his pawns in his plan to create a new world. At the Urahara shop's underground facility, Yuki is hysterical due to Urahara's kidnapping, which causes Shino to angrily subdue him and tell him that now, of all times, he should remain strong. Shino tells Yuki he should act more like his older brother, Rikichi Yuki of the Sixth Division. Hiyori, meanwhile, begrudgingly admits that if it wasn't for Urahara, the world would have already been destroyed. Behind her, Hisagi cannot form words and feels solely responsible for what happened, which causes Hiyori to turn her anger towards him. [17] Eventually the two Sternritter part ways amicably, Liltotto leaving with Bambietta and Gremmy with Guenael Lee, unaware that it is the last time they will ever speak again. [16] All fullbringers seem to possess fragments of the Soul King, which is the source for their fullbring powers. When the Soul King was 'created', his body was desecrated. Some people seem to arbitrarily inherit fragments of the Soul King them during pregnancy. We don't know why or how they do. Rangiku possessed the nail of the Soul King, which is what AIZEN stole from her soul over 100 years ago to fuel his hôgyoku (although AIZEN didn't know she possessed it at the time). Aura MICHBANE possess the saketsu (binding chain) of the Soul King. Hikone was created and brought to life using a special Soul King fragment provided by Tokinada, after multiple failed attempts initially using other Soul King fragments. As Hikone silences Ikomikidomoe and apologizes, Tokinada reassures the child that they should not expect anything else from an inherited Zanpakutō; since it was not born from imprinting upon an Asauchi, it takes time for Ikomikidomoe to fully accept its new master. Tokinada also says that it is not like he can ever wield Ikomikidomoe, as that can only be done by beings like Hikone, Ichigo, and Ginjō. [9]At the same time, in the Urahara shop's underground facility, Hisagi is studying the unconscious forms of numerous rows of Humans that Tessai brought in from the local hospital. Although they all appear to be ordinary Humans, Hisagi notes that their Reiatsu feels strange. While Tessai denies that they are Fullbringers, nor that they are controlled by some sort of Hollow, he discovers several strange amulets on each of the Humans. Tessai reveals the seemingly ordinary religious amulets are in fact made out of prohibited spiritual technology. Technology that had the ban on them removed during the fight against Aizen. As Hisagi recalls that Aura mentioned his fight against Findorr in the Karakura Town, he realizes that the amulets are miniature Tenkai Kecchu. She is a fullbringer who took over XCUTION, and turned it into a cult with hundreds of thousands of members. She is a fullbringer without a personal connection to any one object in particular, and so instead she has a strong connection to everything. Her father Tenshiyo AGATA, was also a fullbringer and kept her isolated and raised her in captivity. As a result, her 'basic' fullbring abilities are considered "Aizen-tier" as a result. Tokinada found her after her father's death. Tokinada tasked her with helping to construct Hikone's body, as well as constructing a replica of the Soul King's Royal Palace, hidden within the Valley of Screams. (Image)Urahara reveals that for the Shinigami's supposed knowledge of future Fullbring births, Nayura Amakado confirmed that the Daireishokairō is surprisingly devoid of almost all information about the subject. This causes Urahara to suspect the involvement of the Visual Department, and by extension the Tsunayashiro family, in withholding the information. Due to this, Urahara asks Hisagi to use his position as a journalist to dig further into what he can find. While initially reluctant, Hisagi agrees. [8]

Similarly, Muramusa is the inherited family zanpakutô of the Kuchiki family, while Shinken Hakkyôken is the inherited zanpakutô of the Ise family. Hearing that name, Hikone mentions that Ichigo is currently in the Human World, and is too busy fighting to protect his sisters to come. This alarms Shinji, and he demands to know what happened in the Human World. Losing his remaining patience, Grimmjow just fires Ceros at Hikone, Shinji, and Luppi. While he is not bothered that the latter two dodged it, he is surprised that Hikone did not do so yet remained unharmed. [12]The Arrancar were greeted by Kukkapūro, the Hollow dog, whom they recognized as Yammy Llargo's companion. Feeling what was left of Yammy's Reiatsu, Harribel and the others determined the powerful Espada fought with all his might before dying. They realized the Adjuchas Hollows had detected their presence and would arrive shortly, for they were now able to approach Las Noches due to the absence of the powerful Espada. All four understood it would not be long before the fighting normal to the Hollows of Hueco Mundo would begin again. Harribel became distressed at the concept, for preventing it was her reasoning for joining Aizen, but now it would return, and she could not stop it from happening. Cyan Sung-Sun suggested now that Baraggan Louisenbairn was dead and Aizen was gone, she should rule Hueco Mundo in their place. Franceska Mila Rose and Apacci agreed it would be the best course of action, but Harribel disagreed, stating a fake sun could not bring light to the darkness of Hueco Mundo, and all which is truly needed is the silent darkness. Harribel began to make her way toward Las Noches, with her loyal Fracción following behind. [69] Censorship [ ] Hisagi argues that while, yes, Arrancar are not absolute evil as the Shinigami are usually taught, it still does not change the fact that most of them sided with Aizen to destroy the Shinigami. Urahara explains that powerful Menos-class Arrancar are an aggregation of thousands upon thousands of souls, and while he is not sure if the resulting personality and beliefs are either an amalgamation of those souls, or a single one that dominates the others, it does not change the fact that they are still just as capable of reasoning as Shinigami are, which should allow for peaceful dialogue.
