But when I discovered the CEO of my own life planner at the end of 2021, I knew I’d found the best planner yet, so today, I’ll be sharing how I use it to keep my life organised and productive. If this is your first year using a CEO of My Own Life® planner, you are in for a treat as it has been designed with a very specific purpose, - to enable you to effectively plan for every aspect of your busy life: business & career | home & family | health & fitness | personal. Therefore encouraging and promoting a better work/life balance, helping you to become better organised, which leads to feeling less stressed and more ‘in control’. Yes please!

I typically have a category for my morning routine where I write down each thing I do in the morning. I then have one for my blog and the activities I need to do daily or weekly, and then I have a personal one which includes things like going for a walk every day or reading a chapter a day, and so on. Read more: if you enjoy reading and want to get through a certain number of books a month, you can monitor your progress here.In today’s post we will cover the basics , - how to set up your new planner in eight simple steps. And the below applies to all of our editions; weekly, daily, dated and undated. Let's begin! Next, I fill out whatever empty slots I have in the daily schedule with the goals I set in the boxes; for example, I usually write down that I want to write one blog per week, so I allocate that goal to one day where I have time to work on it for about 1.5 hours.

While I ♥️ designing the covers, I obsess when it comes to the internal structures. Each year, I try to enhance and improve the CEO of My Own Life® planners to help you stay on top of your busy life and be your most organised self. This is the first step to you being and feeling ‘in control’ and organised, - make a conscious decision to use your planner daily for the entire year. It is as simple as that. Think of it as your personal assistant, a diary, a life planner and everything in between. I then move on to planning my days: I always write down first when I’ll wake up and have my morning routine and when I’ll have my quiet time in the evening and go to bed. I am extremely intentional about my habits because I’ve learned that if I want to see progress in my life, I need to focus on small, daily activities.

I hope you enjoyed reading this post. If you are a busy bee like I am, then this planner will help you stay on top of things and also keep your sanity.

This is where Part Two of this series comes in, in next week's post I will be covering How to Set SMART Goals. I will share one of my favourite goal setting techniques, which I have used for many years. Get the most out of your day with our 6:00 - 22:00 schedule (in 30-minute increments), which allows for detailed daily planning. Not to mention that I’m in a relationship and have many commitments, and I also want to make an effort to be intentional about my social life. Now that I’ve shared with you how I plan my week using the CEO of My Own Life® planner, I want to share my favourite sections of the planner. For so long, I felt overwhelmed about it all and felt incomplete in my organisation system, but that changed when I discovered the CEO of My Own Life® planner.

Another important step that I need to make sure I take is fill out any commitments I make during the weekend with other people. That could be meeting up with friends, going for date night, or calling someone. I can’t skip this step, or I know I’ll double book myself or forget that I even agreed to meet up with someone. First of all, I put down my goals for each specific week by filling out the boxes at the bottom. I try not to overwhelm myself, so I only write down about 2 to 3 goals in each area which are: Business/Career, Home, Health, and Personal. Firstly set a positive tone for the day ahead in the 'Mantra For Today' section. Add you favourite quote, word, draw, doodle, - anything you like! This is then followed by 53 undated weekly spreads. At a minimum, this undated weekly planner will keep you covered for the whole year.Whether you are an entrepreneur, a working parent, a student or a high-flying lawyer, our CEO of My Own Life® planner is created to enable you to be better organised and more productive every day in each area of your life. It prompts you to focus your daily planning on four key areas: business & career | home & family | health & fitness | you. Essentially, it’s one planner for your whole life and helps you stay organised and achieve your goals in all areas! As mentioned before, while the CEO of My Own Life® planner provides a clear planning structure, you can adapt it to suit your life. Experiment and find what works well for you. Most importantly use your planner daily to get the most benefit from it. Over the past few years, my life has become busier and busier; I went from working part-time and running my freelance business to finding a full-time corporate job and running my blog and other projects on the side. Ever since I can remember, I’ve used a planner in my life; sometimes it was when I was playing house with my little sister to organise our “doll family”, other times it was to organise my school work and my exams. For the past 7 years of “adulting” I’ve used it to manage every single area of my life. This is a regular section in all our daily and weekly planners. However, in the new 2021 editions, you will find an improved monthly financial summary for your income and outgoings.
