Description

The story in "Rape Zombie: Lust of the Dead" is about a strange phenomena that turns men into rapists and after awhile they turn into zombie rapists. And women all over the world are in dire peril. Meanwhile, the surviving women of Japan attempt to organize military forces by distributing machine guns to volunteer soldiers. Unfortunately, as the world is consumed by the virus, North Korea blames Japan for the problem due to their booming pornography industry and declares nuclear war on the country (the US will be no help as our testosterone-fueled nation was helpless against the outbreak). As if sex-crazed zombies and a nuclear bomb weren’t enough to contend with, the girls realize that Momoko is pregnant overnight, and they will have to deliver a baby of questionable origin in the midst of nuclear winter. The acting in the movie was as you'd expect from a movie with the title "Rape Zombie: Lust of the Dead". So don't get your hopes up here. I almost bought them but a friend told me to hold off because he heard that these three films, also known as Rape Zombies, was getting a blu release. I held off and I’m glad I did. For almost a third of the price I was able to get the first three Lust of the Dead (there is five total films now) on blu from Media Blasters. Sadly, these films were not as fun as I would have thought. This does present a slight tone problem, especially when talk of a prophecy involving a sun goddess and immaculate conception comes up and throws this whole thing completely off the rails. But it’s hard not to have a tone problem with the horrifying act of rape contrasted with a villain that comes waddling at you with his pants around his ankles.

Rape Zombie spends a lot of its runtime showing rape for the grotesque freakshow it is, making the men stupidly animalistic and ramping up the squishy sound effects for ultimate repulsion. Many scenes run so long and are so over-the-top they trip into porn parody, but this movie has too much story to write it off as simple spank-bank material. And surprisingly, the story is actually very engaging and makes the sex scenes rather boring in comparison.Spoiler Alert**The film follows a group of females who are trying to survive after the world is overrun by toxic males who want nothing more than to rape women. Many females group together to survive but soon the toxic men start to outnumber the women. Soon a nuclear bomb goes off and many of these men perish but those that survive are now severely burned and rotting with an insatiable appetite for women…in more than one way.**Spoiler Alert** In 2011, Tomomatsu directed the V-Cinema science fiction horror film released in Japan as Karei naru erogami-ke no ichizoku: Shinsō reijō wa denki shitsuji no yume o miru ka ( 華麗なるエロ神家の一族 -深窓令嬢は電気執事の夢をみるか-) [20] and internationally with English subtitles as Erotibot in September 2011. [21] The work, starring three AV actresses, Mahiro Aine, Maria Ozawa and Asami, had its European premier at the 12th Japan Film Fest Hamburg in May 2011. [22] In 2012 he released Rape Zombie: Lust of the Dead and began casting extras for a sequel. [23] [24] Awards [ edit ] Pink Grand Prix [ edit ] The main characters meanwhile are four female "survivors" who are holed up in a shrine. The main character, the badass, is played by Asami, who is often called a "porn star", but seems to mostly appear in low-budget sexploitation fare like this as opposed to out-and-out "AV" (adult videos). There are also a pair of lesbians, who have a long scene together--it's NOT true all the nudity in this involves rape. Then there's a very sexy and mature-looking "schoolgirl" (who's even less believable as a genuine schoolgirl then is anything else in this movie). She's so horny for a (non-toxic) man she decides to seduce the young priest of the Shinto shrine, who is seemingly immune to the virus since he has taken a vow chastity. The result of this schoolgirl seduction is pretty predictable, but also very sexy. Personally I think that director Naoyuki Tomomatsu was spending a little too much time filming staged rape scenes with poor-looking zombies, instead of focusing on establishing a proper movie.

A March 2005 drama, Kiss me or kill me: Todokanakutemo aishiteru (kiss me or kill me 届かなくても愛してる), written and directed by Tomomatsu, starred AV Idol Asami and was produced by Tomomatsu's first employer Shungicu Uchida. [9] [10] Another pink film directed by Tomomatsu, Chikan Densha: Suggestive Indecent Hips ( 痴漢電車 挑発する淫ら尻, Chikan densha: chōhatsusuru midara shiri ), produced by Shintōhō Eiga, won the 3rd place Best Film award at the 2005 Pink Grand Prix ceremony. [11]Following on from the events of the third movie this not so politically correct franchise delivers its 4th and worst addition thus far. It's been so long since I watched the first three movies I almost forgot the plot, 4 & 5 were not easy to get hold of!

Finally, we once again get some great practical effects with some questionable make-up effects on the infected. I really liked the practical effects but the visuals were hit and miss. Some of the visuals worked but there is several instances where the visual effects just didn’t look right at all. It was as if they ran out of time and just tossed it in. Overall, Lust of the Dead 2 is just a continuation of the first film with nothing new offered. The movie is a chore to finish and some viewers may not be able to finish this one. Skip it.Finally, this one follows the first two in delivering some decent practical effects along with some below par make-up effects. The effects team is not very consistent. The same can be said for the visual effects. Some are pretty decent but others just feel rushed so the film can be finished. Overall, Lust of the Dead 3 is another major miss in a series that could be highly entertaining. The third entry has no energy and creativity which creates another difficult film to sit through. Skip it. The trouble is it's very out of place in a film like this and certainly not what I'd imagine the average viewer would be seeking. The scale of the plot only widens here and gets really over convoluted to the point where it's a tad unbearable. I knew this film was going to be trashy and offensive but I was expecting to find off the wall story like Helldriver, The Machine Girl, Tokyo Gore Police, and so on. Sadly, this film was nothing like that and just felt like a no budget mess with sexy women scattered throughout. That was basically it, the entire movie wrapped up in a short summary. The storyline is entertaining enough in its oddity and absurdity. But it can only carry the movie so far, because there is little else to keep the movie afloat. That is, unless you are into soft core Japanese pornography and really awful zombie make-up.
