Vital Bracelet Arena App: These battles only decrease Vital Values. They have to be increased by sending your Digimon to the watch or with event only "Vital Drinks". As of Ver.2.0.A, winning NFC battles may now reward you with an Item, please see the Item section above for more details. The Vital Bracelet is nothing but a weird looking watch without Dim cards, these are where the actual Digimon come from. Normal Dims contain 17 Digimon to raise, though some special variants contain fewer. It is very important to keep in mind that once you insert a Dim, it is no longer usable with other Vital Bracelets, it can only be reused with the first one it was inserted into. To load a Dim, follow these steps:

Bandai releases firmware updates for the Vital Bracelet BE irregularly to adjust functionality of the Vital Bracelet BE. The currently available updates and their details can be found here. BP - Battle Power - Determines how likely your shots are to connect. Increased by Dash Training. On the device, this stat is influenced by attribute advantage (see above). In the app, it's used as defense. Character: Allows you to use a default avatar or store up to 3 Extra BEM / DIM / VBM on the device. The device itself does not need to reauthenticate these cards, but when using different ones on the app it is required. If at any point a failure message appears, remove the BE Memory as instructed and re-insert it when prompted. Previous models of Vital Bracelet also used a VS Dim for local battling, this is not compatible with the Vital Bracelet BE.

Digimon have their own sleep schedule and the evolution counter stops counting down while they are asleep. This device can have trouble reading certain skin tones, especially darker ones. If you find that your device can't get a pulse, one solution has been to place a small piece of white/beige masking tape between the sensor and your skin.

After the data transfers, the battle will begin. Leave the Dim in during the duration of the battle. First things first, do not feel frustrated that most of the menu options are not accessible. A newly created Digimon can do nothing but wait until it can Digivolve. All Digimon (except Megas) will automatically attempt to Digivolve if it meets the minimum requirements to do so. The Vital Bracelet BE has several different options that display different information. From the Home Screen, you can press the Select button to cycle between the different menu options, and press the Select button to open that option. The Home Screen Ensure your device’s NFC is on. Move the Vital Bracelet close towards the NFC-capable device. The moment you do so, a random encounter will take place, no steps required whatsoever. However, do be careful not to scratch your screen in the process.

Status: This shows your status including how many Vitals your Digimon can still get, steps walked and your heartrate. That being said it is not the most accurate heartrate counter.

Status - AP is increased by 5% when you your Digimon is happy, and decreased by 5% when it is upset Win Percent - The percentage of battles that you have won. Battles in the app do not count toward this stat.

Adv Mission: The first battle in Adv Mission will count as a battle, when the battle is complete, close out Adv Mission and start it over as future battles will not count.
