In the show's True Crime seasons, Bergara focuses on unsolved crimes, particularly well-known cold cases from many years ago. In most episodes, Bergara reads out the story of the case, including evidence the police working on the case used, before presenting a handful of possible suspects and theories, from both the official police reports and the ideas of others, coupled with evidence that can both prove and disprove their involvement. During these cases, Madej will cut in to provide his input, comedic observations, responses, and theories to Bergara, ending the episode with both hosts discussing which theory appears most likely based on the suspects involved. According to the police, there was no sign of struggle. Despite a large-scale air and ground search for the family, they were not found. Over a month later, though, local hunters discovered three partial skeletal remains deep in the woods, less than three miles away from where the Jamison's car was found. They were identified as those of the Jamison family. No cause of death was able to be determined by the medical examiner.

So, being a resident #shaniac and because we’re suffering through the dry spell between seasons, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to do the BuzzFeed Unsolved Book Tag. As a fan of Buzzfeed Unsolved, this book is a must-read, if you're into the supernatural or paranormal, are into unsolved mysteries, legends, or just love everything I have just said then this is a must-read book for you. Thank you to Shane and Ryan for not only toughening it out and adventuring to these places and giving us great entertainment but also for writing this book as a recap and added incentive on your creepy paranormal journeys. It's simple, short, sweet, and hopefully effective in stopping all serial killers. He says it in an exasperated way as they discuss the O.J. Simpson case and how a serial killer claimed he had killed them. Shane's not impressed and tells all serial killers to stop doing this, and actually, should just stop serial killing altogether. I would recommend the audiobook for a casual listen if you like paranormal/supernatural/spooky stories with a little bit of a jokey kind of spin on it. Once I could get past all the incessant chatter, it was easier to read. For such a short book...it was hard to want to even finish. Let me explain why... Oh my dear sweet lord – I can’t breathe.
