The timeSWITCH 130 works in conjunction with ecoTEC combination models and provides basic 24hr timing for central heating. An additional room thermostat (eg: VRT 50) should be used for temperature control. This is a 24hr mechanical timer (Timeswitch 130) for Vaillant Ecotec Plus and Pro boilers. Next, what 'more accurate on off' can the 140 give over the 120 - sorry I don't understand that either. The 140, being digital, offers the ability to accurately enter on/off times in minutes, whereas the 130 being mechanical is probably only accurate to around 10/15 minutes.
