This is a hard book to review without giving away spoilers. What I will say is that this novel starts out as a simple but devastating crime of hit and run. A five year old boy is dead. This book had me guessing literally through the last lines of the epilogue. The glimpse of writing Jenna sees is in her mind. After this, I'd read anything she writes. Full of twists and turns, I was gripped by the storyline. I did get a brief sense of deja vu - as I read a book last year The Bed I Made which also involves a young woman who moves to a secluded area to escape her past.
