March 2022 is a focal point of our 150th anniversary celebrations, and we look forward to collectively celebrating this prestigious milestone with our supporters around the world, but there is so much more to come including the opening of New Edmiston House and the much-anticipated museum, as well as the Blue Sky Lounge restaurant and hospitality suite in the Sandy Jardine Stand. Rangers fans will get the chance to see club legends such as Paul Gascoigne, Kris Boyd, Michael Mols, Sasa Papac and Nikica Jelavic. Forever proud of our origins, it was important to launch a crest that upholds the Rangers values and details which are symbolic to the club. The ribbon which features below the crest design was influenced by the decorative crests from the club's earliest documented member books which feature an ornamental scroll ribbon. The ribbon design is synonymous with Ibrox where it features in the crests displayed on the side elevation of the iconic Bill Struth Main Stand.

Luis Figo will lead a galaxy of football legends for a star-studded friendly against a Rangers Legends side in a glamour friendly at Ibrox next year. Douglas Laing’s philosophy is to bottle the way the distiller intended – at a high strength and without chill filtration to preserve the robust and unique character of the whisky. Their industry reputation and many awards are testament to that ethos.Throughout the season, our kit and retail partner Castore will release commemorative kits that pay tribute to the rich heritage and success this club has been built on. These kit launches will be further complemented by special edition training wear, leisure wear and retro items for all ages. The outfield kit is a classic white design as a homage to our first team photograph in 1877 whilst the goalkeeper kit is a soft shade of blue, inspired by bluebells.

Dedication to success is something that has been instilled at the club since our formative years and ‘The Moonlighters’ evening will allow supporters to take part in an evening stadium tour and view some of our earliest memorabilia and artefacts in the company of legends and club historians. Rangers Commercial and Marketing Director, James Bisgrove, commented: “Rangers are thrilled to be collaborating with a local business of the repute of Douglas Laing on these six outstanding spirits. In the summer of 2020, the club launched an evolution of our brand identity and unveiled an updated ‘Ready’ crest which displayed our core ‘READY’ message in a new, modern way. ‘Ready’ has always had significant meaning in the club’s history. For the anniversary, ‘Forever Ready’ will be the message that unites everything we do as a club to celebrate 150 incredible years – and fittingly, Rangers enter this milestone year as Champions of Scotland for a World Record 55th time.
