At the time, Philosophy was getting a lot of attention in the beauty press, with so many people raving about the range, so I guess I just bought into the hype. This new stuff is nothing like the old formula, that is why I have given it a Dislike rating (the original was a Love). The scent does last longer when using the lotion and I will definitely consider repurchase of the lotion for these reasons. I fell in love with the first one, but unfortunately the second bottle was already different from the first one and the last one. I kept smelling this soapy smell and thought I still had soap on my hands, until I realized it was actually the perfume!

There is no doubt Coty has changed the formula, probably to make it cheaper, the scent is now sometimes sharp and sometimes smells a bit like bug spray and it has absolutely no longevity or sillage, can barely smell it.
