Cameron flooded sets, had actors run away from real walls of rushing water, put them next to open flames, built most of the boats partially and entirely and had them move with flight simulator technology, shot Nerf darts at them to simulate incoming artillery, and generally insisted on as much being practical as possible. The film stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Cliff Curtis and Kate Winslet. The film’s last hour is a three-dimensional visual feast with near, midrange, and deep background objects swimming and floating throughout the screen. There’s barely a second of the film that doesn’t offer some sort of fully-packed surround soundscape with plenty of overhead activity. Tag in all of the bonus features and this is a very welcome sign that Disney might actually be giving a damn about physical media again and giving physical media collector's their money’s worth.

The Undersea World of Pandora – Co-production designer Dylan Cole and his team conceive of the marine creatures required for Avatar: The Way of Water while James Cameron and his stunt team devise extraordinary means to bring those creatures to life in a performance capture tank.History suggests, though, that the picture quality (and maybe the sound quality too) of this eagerly anticipated physical media release could be seriously undermined by the fact that the film is set to be delivered on 4K Blu-ray by Disney.

Becoming Na'vi (HD; 10:51) looks at some of the training and/or mentoring done to establish "tribal" identities. James Cameron's Pandoran sequel just rounded out a record-breaking run at cinemas worldwide, becoming the third biggest movie of all time in the process. The New Characters of Pandora– Meet the important new characters of the Avatar saga played by Kate Winslet, Cliff Curtis, Edie Falco, Brendan Cowell and Jemaine Clement. Becoming Na'vi – The Avatar cast is immersed in the culture of the indigenous Na'vi, living off the land in the Hawaiian rainforest and training in a multitude of disciplines in preparation for their roles. On the upside, it has delivered some pretty impressive 4K releases of some of its animated classics - including the recently released 4K version of 1950’s Cinderella. so to speak) and just stays there, a certain amount of sensory overload kicks in and all that's left is the running time.

Hopefully, all of this material will make it to the disc release and not stuck as a digital-only extra feature. My optimistic side, along with improvements in this respect with other recent Disney 4K Blu-ray releases, also makes me think for the same reasons that the Dolby Atmos audio mix Avatar: The Way Of Water gets will be suitably massive and full-range in its impact, rather than being another one of Disney’s thin, compressed-sounding efforts. A 3D throw projector at least for now is the future for 3D, this is how it hangs on and survives, T. This can feel a little “back-patty” as they talk about the intense creative process but they do get down into the nitty gritty of bringing this sequel to life while also teasing material we’ll see in later sequels.D, and HFR all enhance his vision in a properly equipped theater, and he hates people watching movies on their phones. Great to see all these physical disc releases though which show that the physical disc medium is still very much alive! We believe we have a very thoughtful, detailed and diligent safety plan that will keep everybody as safe as possible in these unprecedented times. Would love to see a new and improved 3d version of the original Avatar, but I can live without that. No loud people, whatever treats WE WANT, no smelly people, no discomfort, most importantly, NO HIGH COST!

The action is focused on the Na'vi army defending their way of life against a military force led by Colonel Quaritch.Nurse Jackie star Edie Falco will play a military commander working for the sinister Resources Development Administration (or RDA), while Brendan Cowell (Press) is a Pandora-based hunter working for the private sector. The reason I bring this up is that all passive 3D TV panels were made by LG, regardless of the name of the TV manufacturer.
