In February 2016, Activision confirmed that there would be a new Skylanders title set to be released in 2016. Skylanders: Imaginators is a 2016 toys-to-life 3D platform game developed by Toys for Bob and published by Activision. Skylanders Imaginators introduces at last the character customization, which gives the player lots of possibilities and entertainment. Imaginators is a decent enough game, I know it got a lot of flack for the microtransactions (it was only a matter of time with this series) but I never felt the need to pay anything extra since you unlock so much stuff throughout the course of the game.

Eventually collecting every toy got to be a bit much on my adult wallet so I took a break for a few years after Superchargers came out, so I never got to play this last Skylander game. The team began animating Crash after finishing up the model, with the goal of ensuring that Crash's "edginess, trademark wackiness, and swagger" are preserved.

Why not give them a bushy tail while you're at it, and make them constantly tell you that they're amazed by their own muscles? Just when you might have expected the original Toys-to-Life franchise to be running out of steam, Activision has brought it back, revitalised and exciting.

Each hero has an assigned type, and these types are not only stronger in certain areas of combat – which comes into play frequently on harder difficulties – but can also unlock other levels in the hub world.The combat is solid, and aside from glacial movement speed, the stages themselves are full of things to see and do. Even the jumping doesn’t feel all that good and with some precise jumps needed in certain levels, it can get annoying. Using GameFAQs regularly with these browsers can cause temporary and even permanent IP blocks due to these additional requests.
